Living in Bermuda as a child I loved playing house in between the trees and flowers at Gilbert Institute Primary school. I would go on nature walks to the sea with my school mates and watch fish swim in the water pools. My Mother use to read to me every night and would cuddle up in my bed and imagine the characters. and I loved reading and imagining a lot by myself. I am the only child, so I would pretend a lot when i played on my own or with my cousins. So when writing this book I drew on all my memories as a child and created Abigail. Click here to read more.
